In addition to his ADD, ADHD and Executive Functioning Coaching, Jonathan Carroll is also a Special Education Advocate and Educational Advisor. He has several years of experience helping children, adolescents and adults meet personal, professional and educational goals. As an adult managing his own ADHD, Jonathan Carroll helps clients all over the world achieve success through a variety of effective strategies and techniques.
Jonathan Carroll received a B.A. in Communication from DePaul University in Chicago and a M.A. in Learning Disabilities with additional studies in Social/Emotional Disorders from Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago. His graduate thesis examined ADD/ADHD and the use of medication along with alternative intervention strategies.
Jonathan Carroll founded and manages Carroll Educational Group(www.carrolleducationalgroup.com) and IEP Experts(www.iepexperts.com). Additionally, he is on the clinical staff at The Child, Adolescent and Family Development Center. Jonathan is a member of the ACO (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder Coaches’ Organization), CEC(Council for Exceptional Children), CHADD (Children and Adults with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder), ADDA (Attention Deficit Disorder Association), LDA (Learning Disabilities Association), COPAA (Council of Parent Attorneys and Advocates) and IPA (Illinois Psychological Association).
Jonathan Carroll is considered an expert in the field of education. In addition to helping individuals and families, he is a regular speaker at conferences and seminars highlighting current trends in education. He is a featured guest on ABC, FOX and NBC newscasts in Chicago discussing various topics on education.
Jonathan Carroll lives with his family in Northbrook, Illinois. In addition to the importance of spending quality time with his family, his interests include reading, writing, technology and sports.
